However, students under this scheme must pay fees such as exam fees, bus fees, deposits, and hostel fees.
Eligibility for TFWS
To qualify for the TFWS scheme, students must meet the following criteria:
- The parent’s income must be less than Rs. 6 lakh per annum
- Candidates must submit an income certificate issued by one of the following authorities:
- Mamlatdar
- Taluka Development Officer (TDO)
- Collector (Jan Seva Kendra)
- Other documents, such as Income Tax Returns or Certificates issued by Sarpanc,h will not be accepted.
