Electrical Engineering

In order to produce Diploma Students who are “curved for success”, the Electrical Engineering Department at Noble University offers a student-oriented educational experience in preparation of world class engineers who can address challenges of the industries worldwide.

The mission of the Electrical Engineering Department is to produce graduates who

• Understand the basic principles that underlie modern electrical technology.
• Are able to apply creatively their understanding of engineering principles to the solution of problems arising in whatever career path they choose.
• To uphold a culture of academic excellence; reflective of the highest standards of innovative teaching-learning approaches and strategies.

• To sustain the planned growth in the power sector, the industry needs human capital trained in electrical engineering. The Electrical Engineering Department is contributing to this need by producing trained technology leaders. Department of Electrical Engineering came into existence in the year July 2011 with intake of 60students.The department has a goal of providing excellence in technical education. The department has young, dynamic & dedicated faculty members.
• The department provides opportunities to the students to work in state of the art laboratories like Basic Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines, Power System Protection. The department also provides facility for computer simulation and virtual experimentation with the latest updated software like MATLAB, Mi-Power, Auto CAD-Electrical, PSIM, etc… The final year students are provided all infrastructural facilities needed to carry out their projects to explore the advanced technological boom.
• The most important asset of the department is the team of young, dedicated and well qualified faculty members. All the faculty members posses Master’s degree in the various specialized fields of electrical engineering.

Students graduating from the Electrical Engineering Department at Noble University will be expected and prepared to exercise the skills and abilities through & listed in the table of Program Outcomes below. The table also indicates how the Program Outcomes contribute to the Program Educational Objectives.

• Knowledge of mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and basic science, computer science, and engineering sciences, necessary to analyze and design complex electrical and electronic devices, software, and systems containing hardware and software components, as appropriate to electrical engineering.
