This is the prime branch of Ayurveda related to general medicine on the lines of Ayurveda. It deals with therapeutic approach to the disease either through Shodhana (purification), Shamana (pacification) and Satwawajaya (Counseling). These applications are done through medications, behavioural, psychological & life style management. A regular functioning of IPD and OPD of this department makes it feasible for the students to learn those skills properly with ample practical exposure.
